Spellband is an Italian trio of DJs and producers that have been making music since 1997:

Giuseppe is the composer, musician, and arranger, he’s being playing keyboards, bass and guitar since he was a child as he grew up in a family of musicians; Andrea is the group co-founder together with Giuseppe and his main role is tracks editing; Vins is the man of sound and is responsible for Spellband’ sound engineering, editing and the final touch.

At the beginning of their musical career they set up a home studio where they started playing with drum machines, midi, old samplers and in 2 years their music reached the top, capturing the attention of US main labels such as Strictly Rhythm and 4th Floor Rec : they were the first Italian producers to come out on these labels in the 90’s.

They have a history of over 200 releases (80% on vinyl) and more than 100 remixes; they released tracks on prestigious compilations and labels such as Vega Records (Louie Vega), Tony Records (Tony Humphries) with whom they have an ongoing collaboration, Madhouse Records (Kerri Chandler), T’s Crates (Terry Hunter), King Street, Shelter (Timmy Regisford), Moblack, Tribe Records UK, Double Cheese , while growing many other project with US DJs / producers.

Spellband plays in clubs and festivals around Italy and Europe; their set is a six-handed passionate performance, sometimes enriched by live keyboards sessions, and during which they play their music along with a mix of old and new sounds, all of which make their sets vibrants, engaging and fun. This year they celebrate 20 years of Spellband with, among other events, their upcoming brand new release “Pangea” on Nulu Records and with their participation at Odyssia festival for the second year.
